About the water analysis

How does the AI water flow analysis work?

You record a short video of the water surface — five to thirty seconds is plenty. The app's optical-flow pipeline measures how the surface moves between frames and detects hydrodynamic structures: backflows, shear lines, vortices and slow-flow zones. These are the current breaks where baitfish get pushed and predators hold.

LureScore highlights them on your own frame and ranks the spots so you can start with the best-looking water instead of covering the whole bank.

Do I need special hardware or a specific phone camera?

No. A modern Android phone camera is all you need. The analysis runs on the video you record in the app — no extra sensors, no drone, no boat. It works from the bank.

What kind of video gives the best result?

A short, reasonably steady clip of the water surface, shot from the bank or a high vantage point, works best. Keep the horizon steady and avoid heavy digital zoom: the analysis compares motion between frames, so shake hurts more than distance does.

Does it work in wind, chop or low light?

Analysis quality follows the video you give it. Clear footage of moving water gives the best result. Heavy surface chop and very low light reduce the detail available to the motion detection, so on rough days take a couple of seconds on a steadier stretch. The fishing index still works normally in any conditions — it is built from weather data, not video.

Does it tell me exactly where a fish is?

No, and we do not claim otherwise. The analysis reports hydrodynamic features and ranks the spots worth working. Fish location depends on far more than surface flow — depth, structure below the surface, water clarity, angling pressure and season all matter, and your own judgement on the bank still decides the cast.

The fishing index

What is the fishing index?

A 0 to 100 planning score for a given day and location, built from air temperature, barometric pressure and its trend, wind, humidity and light level. Higher numbers mean the conditions stack up in your favour; lower numbers mean the day is working against you.

It exists to help you compare windows against each other, not to promise anything about an individual cast.

What is the difference between the system index and my personal index?

The system index is computed from weather and location data for everybody. The personal index is built from the trips you log and gradually weights the score toward the conditions that have actually produced for you, on your waters, for the species you chase.

Can I look up the index for a past or future date?

Future days inside the forecast window are shown to everyone. Looking up an arbitrary date in the past requires Premium (L2) or Pro (L3).

Where can I see the index without the app?

Daily conditions for US locations are published free on our companion site, seo.aidecy.com/fishing-conditions, together with a river current analyzer and a condition calculator you can use in a browser.

Account and membership

Do I need an account?

Yes. Registration is by email address with a six-digit verification code. An account is what keeps your catch log and personal model tied to you across devices.

How much does LureScore cost?

L1 is free and includes 5 water analyses per day plus the full fishing index, weather and pressure trends, catch records and species identification. Premium (L2, 20 analyses per day plus date-based index history) and Pro (L3, 50 analyses per day) are optional subscriptions. See membership for the full breakdown.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Google Play. Open the Play Store app, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select LureScore, and cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not downgrade your level — levels never go down.

What are levels, and do they expire?

Levels are a permanent progression tied to your account. Once you reach a level it stays, so a heavy season does not cost you anything later.

Privacy and data

Is my fishing data private?

Your fishing records and photos are private to your account. Location is used only to provide weather and water analysis for the spots you select. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

Account deletion is explained step by step on the account deletion page. If anything is unclear, email support@lure.aidecy.com and we will handle it with you.

Still stuck?

Email us and a person reads it. Include your account email and, for analysis problems, the clip you used if you still have it.
